In the news...

August 10, 2006 - The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort made the long awaited announcement of the permanent replacement of the Arial Tram yesterday.  The new tram cars will carry 100 passengers to the summit of Rendezvous Mountain in just 7 minutes which is 5 minutes faster than the existing tram.  The increases in speed and tram car size will more than double the uphill skier capacity.  Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has chosen Doppelmayr/CTEC to do the construction with local architect John Carney designing the new docking stations.   Scheduled to open for the 2008/2009 ski season, the new tram will ensure that Jackson Hole continues to be a world class ski area.
